Allison Katie Squires and Nathan Robert Burns exchanged wedding vows at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, June 25, 2016, at Ashland First United Methodist Church. The Rev. Daniel Bilkert officiated. A dinner reception followed the ceremony at Ashland University Convocation Center.

The bride is the daughter of Greg and Paige Squires of Ashland. The groom is the son of Robert and Darla Burns of Findlay.

The bride, given in marriage by her parents, wore an ivory lace and tulle, A-line, beaded ball gown with a hairpiece veil fashioned from her mother’s bridal veil. She carried a bouquet of white peonies, garden roses and ranunculus.

Maid of honor was Alyssa Bacik, friend of the bride, and bridesmaids included Alexandra Brown, friend of the bride; Kate Brown, friend of the bride; Ashley Burns, sister of the groom; and Ellen Reep, friend of the bride. They wore navy, floor-length, chiffon gowns in varied styles and carried bouquets of blush-colored garden roses, peonies and ranunculus.

Best man was Nicholas Burns, brother of the groom. Groomsmen included Patrick Burkin, cousin of the groom; Ross Newlove, friend of the groom; Daniel Reedy, cousin of the groom; and Drew Squires, brother of the bride.

The bride is a graduate of Ashland High School and Ohio State University, and was formerly employed by Hedstrom-Ball, Bounce & Sport Inc. in Ashland.

The groom is a graduate of Columbian High School and Ohio State University, and is a sales and logistics coordinator with Alfagreen Supreme in Toledo.

The couple resides in Perrysburg.
