• A person reported Tuesday night an employee was assaulted by another employee at American Fine Sinter, 957 Maule Road.

• A 300-block South Washington Street man reported Wednesday morning the theft of fishing rods from the bed of his vehicle.

• A 300-block Wentz Street woman reported Wednesday afternoon a semi drove through her yard, causing damage.

• A 100-block South Washington Street resident reported Wednesday afternoon a check-cashing scam.

• An 8000-block West CR 28 resident reported Tuesday evening a neighbor was lighting firecrackers and throwing them at dogs.

• An 800-block North Loudon Drive resident reported Tuesday evening sidewalk chalk was used to write sayings on the driveway, and a trash toter was found under a neighbor’s window.

• A person reported Tuesday night a man broke out the front window of a residence in the 2000 block of West TR 170.

• A 500-block East SR 18 man reported Wednesday afternoon his ex-girlfriend stole his fishing pole and tackle box.

• Rogelio Esquivel, 38, of Fostoria, was charged with an operating a vehicle while intoxicated suspension and a Financial Responsibility Act suspension Tuesday.

• Brittany A. Leimgruber, 28, of Fostoria, was charged with driving under suspension Tuesday.

• A person reported Tuesday evening a stolen bicycle.

Tiffin accidents

• A citation of improper backing was issued after a two-vehicle, non-injury accident at City Lot 2 Tuesday afternoon.

• A citation was issued after a single-vehicle accident at Miami Street and Ashwood Road Wednesday morning.

• A three-vehicle, non-injury accident was reported at Hall and North Sandusky streets Wednesday morning.

• Carrie M. Drake, 31, of Tiffin, was charged with resist arrest Tuesday.

Fostoria accident

• A citation of assured clear distance ahead was issued after a two-vehicle, non-injury accident at West Center and North Countyline streets Wednesday morning.

• Bettsville fire and Bascom EMS responded to a fire alarm at 114 Union St. Tuesday afternoon. It was a false alarm.
