Thanks for help with Senior Prom

Area seniors enjoyed attending the Senior Prom May 2 at Columbian High School, sponsored by Seneca County Community Council. Guests received corsages, enjoyed refreshments and dancing to some “oldies” music, making memories in the photo booth, looking through old yearbooks from Columbian and Calvert high schools or looking up their yearbook online courtesy of the Tiffin-Seneca Public Library. Everyone had a chance at winning the Prom King or Prom Queen bucket of goodies, and several attendees won beautiful geraniums that had been used as centerpieces.

Thank you to everyone that supported the event, including: Kiwanis Club of Tiffin, Retired Seniors Volunteer Program, Tiffin City Schools, Calvert Catholic Schools, Teresa Chatman, the Klepper family, Carol Marlowe, Glenn Gray, St. Catherine’s in Fostoria, National Machinery Foundation, North West Ohio Photo Booth and Rock Run Bulk Foods.

Special thanks to Columbian High School students who led tours of the school and the preschoolers from Lincoln Pre-K who entertained guests and served as chaperones.
