SUMMER SOFTBALL: The Seneca East softball program is accepting registration for the summer season. Girls in grades K-8 are eligible. Registration forms are available at Seneca East Local Schools. Forms and payment must be turned in to the elementary or high school offices by Feb. 15.

GIRLS JV BASKETBALL: Grace Wasserman netted nine points and Chloe Wilkinson had eight points, four rebounds and three steals to lead Old Fort in a 43-7 romp past Oak Harbor.

n Sandusky St. Mary beat New Riegel 20-13. Brieanna Norville scored nine points for New Riegel.

BOYS JV BASKETBALL: Mohawk beat Arcadia 41-21, getting 11 points from Jacob Coldiron and nine from Trey Combs.

n Calvert beat Marion Elgin 38-10.

n Cole Bigelow popped in 18 points and Myles Miller and Ryan Miller each scored 12 to fuel Old Fort’s 57-45 win against Margaretta.

SECTIONAL SWIM SITE CHANGED: The site for Upper Sandusky’s sectional swim meet has been changed to Ayersville on Saturday at 11 a.m. The bus leaves at 8 a.m.

BOYS JUNIOR HIGH BASKETBALL: Sandusky edged Tiffin’s eighth grade 49-46 in the Sandusky Bay Conference Tournament semifinals. Carter Groves led the Tornadoes in the loss with 17 points, Logan Beaston scored 11 and Garritt Prenzlin had nine.

n Mohawk powered past Seneca East’s eighth grade 49-29 in the Northern 10 Athletic Conference Tournament quarterfinals. A.J. Hess tossed in 18 points for the Warriors, Zaiden Fry netted 16, Kyle Stillberger scored eight and Bryce Hannam had seven. Isaac Mason keyed Seneca East with 10 points.

n Carey’s seventh grade beat Seneca East 33-27 in the Northern 10 Athletic Conference Tournament quarterfinals. Caden Bumb scored 10 points for Seneca East and Aiden Hines tallied eight.

n Isaiah Perez scored 10 points to fuel Old Fort’s 25-14 seventh grade win against New Riegel.

n Isaac Snyder netted 23 points to key Old Fort’s 42-26 eighth grade win against Sandusky St. Mary. Adam Magers added seven points for the Stockaders.
