Co-medalists fuel Blue Jackets

New Riegel had the top two players Thursday in a 173-181 Sandusky Bay Conference River Division win against Fremont St. Joe at Seneca Hills.

Allan Acree and Aaron Hohman shot twin 41s for the Blue Jackets (3-1, 3-0 SBC River).

Chris Acree chipped in a 45 for New Riegel and Jacob Theis shot a 46.

Caden Spader and Lance Emrich both shot a 43 for the Crimson Streaks.

Thomas leads Senecas to rout

St. Paul only had four players for its match against Calvert Thursday at Mohawk Country Club.

Three of them shot in the 60s, and the Senecas won by a big margin.

Brayden Thomas shot a medal-winning 40, Dominic Mangiola had 41 and Maddy Brown had a 45 as Calvert improved to 2-1 with a 174-236 win over the Flyers.

Jackson Cook had a 48 for Calvert.

The Flyers were led by Keegan Baker, who had a 45.

Blue Devils move to 4-0

CAREY — Carey stayed perfect Thursday by rolling past Arlington 166-192 at Bob’s Countryside.

Marcus Miller and Trey Bame shared medalist honors with 38s to pace the Blue Devils (4-0).

McKain Phillips backed them with a 43 and Ethan Tanner added a 47 for Carey.

Brayden Bushong’s 40 led the Red Devils (2-1) and William Bushong shot a 46.
