PREP BASEBALL: Old Fort rallied for three runs in the top of the sixth for a 6-5 lead, then plated four more in the seventh to beat New Riegel 10-5 in Sandusky Bay Conference River Division play. Shane Ott went 3 for 3 with two doubles, two runs and an RBI for Old Fort, Casey Clouse hd three runs, two RBIs and two singles, Kaleb Wilkinson drove in four runs and singled twice, and Jarett Woodall singled twice and drove in a run. David Kupka added two runs and a single, Coleman Bigelow and Myles Miller both singled and scored, Parker Dubois scored, and winning pitcher Eddie Webb drove in a run. Eric Theis led New Riegel with a run, double and single. Logan Schalk drove in two runs and singled twice, losing pitcher Cole Noftz scored twice and singled, Jacob Theis had a single and RBI, Hayden Hohman singled, Nick Reinhart and Joe Tiell scored, and Darek Feindel drove in a run.

JV SOFTBALL: Gracie Parkins and Abbey Yarris combined to strikeout 10 and three teammates each belted three hits to key Hopewell-Loudon’s 19-4 win against Lakota. Hannah Fought lined two singles and a double for the Chieftains and Kiley Cline and Bryanne Counts each had three singles. Reggen Baker added a double and single and Carlee Dell singled twice in the 16-hit attack.

* Brieanna Norville singled twice and scored to spark New Riegel in a 2-1 win against Bellevue. Winning pitcher Aubrey Bouillon added a single and run for the Blue Jackets, Gracie Gosche had a single and RBI, Jenna Gabel singled twice and Sydney Hohman singled.

JV BASEBALL: Hopewell-Loudon beat Lakota 17-12. Tyson Swanagan earned the win for the Chieftains. Owen Schumn, Devin Falter and Joe Colatruglio all had three hits. Jason Smith knocked in three runs and Adam Daniel knocked in two.

BASEBALL: Tiffin Area Babe Ruth will player draft 1-4 p.m. Saturday at Vic Wurm Field at Hedges-Boyer Park for players age 13-16 who do not turn 17 before May 1. In third place was Steve Bernard, Mike Clouse, Greg Clouse and John Englehart at 8 under, beating four other teams.
